Change In School Timing In Summer & Winter Zone Check Now

School Timings Adjusted for Summer and Winter Zones

Effective Immediately

In a recent directive, the Directorate of School Education Jammu has announced revised school timings for both summer and winter zones of Jammu Division. The new timings will come into effect from October 1, 2023.

Summer Zone:

• For the month of October 2023, school timings will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• From November 1, 2023, onwards, school timings will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM within municipal limits and from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in rural areas.

Winter Zone:

• School timings will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, effective from October 1, 2023.

Strict Adherence Required

All government and private recognized schools are mandated to comply with these revised timings. Any deviation from the prescribed schedule will invite disciplinary action against the institution, as per existing regulations.
