CBSE Extends Class 9 and 11 Registration for Board Exams 2024
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the registration deadline for Class 9 and Class 11 students for the 2024 board exams. This decision was made in response to requests from various schools.
CBSE registration is a mandatory step for all students who plan to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Schools are required to submit accurate student and subject information during registration, as modifications will not be allowed later.
Students enrolling for CBSE board exams will be required to pay the prescribed registration fee. The fee structure for the academic year 2023-24 is as follows:
- Indian Class 9 students: Rs 300
- Indian Class 11 students: Rs 300
- International Class 9 students: Rs 500
- International Class 11 students: Rs 600
Visually impaired students are exempt from paying the registration fee.
The new registration deadline for Class 9 and Class 11 students is October 25, 2023. Students can register through the CBSE website.
Students and schools are advised to complete the registration process as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute hassles.
